A feeble explanation

Unless absolutely unavoidable, I truly do not want to ask everyone for leave. But the truth is that today was another day spent working from morning until night, with not a moment in between to write.

By the time I got home, my mind was completely drained, and I simply could not get anything down. I cannot churn out a load of meaningless words just to fob you all off. I admit that the pacing has been a little off lately, so allow me to explain myself. Throughout the entire Qixi Festival arc, I only wanted to try writing the full progression of an emotion, from its beginning through its development and climax to its conclusion. I wanted to test out an idea about writing.

Judging from the comments and feedback so far, it may indeed have affected everyone’s reading experience. I will do my best not to attempt something like this again.

Good night, everyone. Tomorrow, I promise at least two chapters with real content.
