While Chen Ming moved silently forward, another uninvited guest gradually approached from the other side, sending ripples through the space.

A massive werewolf with three heads strode across the desolate land, his eyes filled with nostalgia as he surveyed the barren expanse. "Such a familiar scent," he murmured, his voice low and eerie.

The werewolf was towering, like a small mountain, his muscles thick and robust, though the original contours of his form were still discernible. His body pulsed with a deep, blood-red hue, radiating a profound power of destruction. Of his three heads, only the central one had its eyes open, already beginning to shift into a more bizarre form. The other two heads remained lupine, though subtly altered.

As if sensing his arrival, the surrounding land began to tremble. Wisps of abyssal magic swirled around him, as if welcoming his presence—a stark contrast to the reception Chen Ming had received earlier.

"Indeed, this environment suits me best!" he rasped, sensing the surroundings.

His language was entirely different from that of the world’s inhabitants; it bore a resemblance to the tongues of the demons, yet it felt deeper, laden with a unique, ancient weight. His voice seemed to carry a mysterious power—a potent, seductive influence that, upon hearing it, stirred an irresistible urge to destroy and ruin.

As time passed, the master of this space began to react to his arrival. A vast, destructive force erupted, sweeping up magic and laws to manifest a towering demon god in the void. Three-headed, six-armed, and draped in scales, the apparition roared madly at the intruder.

The werewolf merely sneered. Above his own head, an identical demon god phantom emerged, its power far more immense and solidified than the one opposing it.

In the void of this realm, the two phantoms—possessing nearly identical auras—roared and confronted one another. The sheer force of their clash swept across the land, obliterating every living thing in its path. Amidst the standoff, howls reminiscent of both wolves and feral beasts echoed through the world, deafening in their intensity.

The three-headed demon wolf seemed intimately familiar with this place. With clear intent and no hesitation, he marched straight toward a specific direction in the center. After a long while, as a surge of powerful life force emerged within the space, he arrived at his destination.

It was a sunken basin in the earth where an unimaginably enormous mass of flesh stood, pulsing with movement.

Thump! Thump! Thump!

A powerful, rhythmic heartbeat reverberated through the area, carrying a crushing pressure. A typical life form—even a powerhouse like a High Priest or a Sky Knight—would be unable to stand here; they would be crushed to death within moments under such immense, oppressive weight.

Yet, the three-headed werewolf stood unfazed. Instead, a gleam of fanaticism flickered in his deep, vast lupine eyes. "Hahaha!" he roared, staring at the colossal heart with an excitement beyond the comprehension of ordinary beings.

As he laughed, the massive heart seemed to be provoked. A surge of immense magic erupted, condensing countless laws of destruction and lashing out at the three-headed werewolf. This power was devastating, etched with the marks of fundamental laws; if unleashed in the outside world, it would turn vast regions into dead zones, incapable of recovery for centuries.

But when this colossal force struck the werewolf, it merely tore open a few deep gashes without inflicting any critical damage. Moments later, as his demonic nature surfaced, the ghastly wounds began to fade, healing rapidly as he ignored the terrifying energy contained within the attacks.

"It is useless. While this space was opened by your power, we are, after all, pieces of the same original entity. We possess the same power and laws; naturally, you cannot cause me much harm."

After a moment, the demon wolf’s low voice emerged, carrying a resonance that neutralized the incoming waves of energy. As he finished speaking, lightning flashed across the sky. A storm swept through as the demon god manifested, roaring toward the heavens in a fit of fury. Seeing this, the demon wolf sneered and channeled his own power, coalescing his own demon god image.

The two phantoms stood in opposition, appearing exceptionally real. Yet, a closer look would reveal that both were largely illusory, with only small portions possessing true substance.

"Back then, our true form fell. We failed in our attempt to ascend to eternity, our will shattered, and our body was torn asunder, falling into this strange world. Each fragment inherited a portion of the original legacy and birthed its own consciousness."

"You are the heart, possessing the greatest power. I am the head; though my strength is far inferior to yours, I was the first to awaken."

"After my initial awakening, I used the pervasive magic left behind by our fall to incite the Demon Tide. Though I was eventually defeated and suppressed by the Son of the Plane—blessed by the world’s consciousness—I managed to consume several others due to my initial advantage. Centuries ago, I laid my plans and seized a body capable of bearing this demonic power."

The demon wolf stood before the flesh, his eyes deep and reflective. He paused, looking at the mass, and added: "And now, after all this time, I have finally waited for this moment."

"Once I devour you, my form will be mostly complete. If I then plunder the essence of this world entirely, regaining the strength of our original form is not impossible."

As his words died away, the scene shifted. The werewolf’s body began to transform. The original scales retracted, and his solid frame grew soft and pitch-black. Thin, dark tentacles sprouted from his flesh, slowly elongating toward the massive heart.

As the tentacles made contact and began to coil around the heart, a massive roar erupted from the flesh itself. Under the immense pressure, the heart-like mass suddenly shifted, rapidly forming a three-headed, six-armed body, desperate to resist.

A flicker of spiritual light appeared on this form, along with massive, jagged mouths filled with sharp teeth. As it made contact with the encroaching tentacles and flesh, it snapped back, attempting to counter-devour its attacker.

"It is useless!" the demon wolf roared, his giant eyes turning blood-red. He lunged forward, grabbing his opponent instantly, and unleashed a torrent of tentacles that enveloped half of the other’s body.

The two locked in a stalemate, consuming each other where their flesh met.

However, as time passed, the tide of victory began to shift toward the demon wolf.

...

Elsewhere, Chen Ming looked toward the distance, a flicker of surprise flashing in his golden eyes. "Such a massive impact, and it carries a familiar sensation. Who has entered?"

With this thought, he gazed into the distance. In his vision, two powerful auras were colliding, both bearing a familiar essence. Each was immensely strong—enough to pose a threat to him. As they clashed, one aura began to wane rapidly, while the other surged, reaching a level that chilled even Chen Ming.

He looked up, channeling his divine power frantically into his eyes to pierce through the illusions. Within his body, an ancient godhead emerged, rotating slowly to shatter the barriers of fate and reveal the true scene.

In his field of vision, two massive demon gods appeared in the void—both three-headed and six-armed, clad in scales—tearing into and devouring one another. As the truth was revealed, a dangerous premonition gripped his heart.

"No more hesitation. The aura ahead is fading rapidly; the outcome will be decided soon!"

With this realization, he moved, his body following his intent. In an instant, he covered the vast distance like a spark of light, arriving at the scene.

But by the time he reached his destination, the outcome was already nearly sealed.

A three-headed demon wolf stood in the center, his massive body erupting with countless tentacles that had completely enveloped his opponent. Opposite him, the massive heart had vanished, slowly digested as the demon wolf siphoned away its life and essence.

As this proceeded, the demon wolf began to change. Countless weathered scales fell away, replaced by new ones, stimulated into growth by the surge of power. The two heads that had been closed now began to change, opening their eyes and shifting their forms toward that of a true demon god.

To Chen Ming’s senses, the demon wolf’s aura surged with a speed that left him startled.

"This is... the Ancestral God that was usurped back then." The thought flashed through his mind as he looked toward the spot where the massive heart had been. Only a remnant remained, trapped and helpless as its essence was drained.

Just as the final moment approached, an unexpected change occurred.
