Shen Guodong frowned, his expression darkening as he spoke. "I just wanted to have a decent meal, but you haven't given me a single chance to do so."

Hearing this, Butler Chen became anxious. "Sir, we are all business people. In the business world, it is best to leave a way out for others so we can meet again. Don't take things too far."

Seeing that the man was still trying to negotiate, Shen Guodong lost his patience. He slammed Young Master Wang onto the ground and planted his foot firmly on the young man's back. Young Master Wang let out a cry of agony.

"Ah! Butler! Butler, save me! Save me!"

Hearing the young master's wails, Butler Chen’s face turned livid with rage. "Fine! Say whatever you want, I’ll listen."

Shen Guodong shook his head. "It’s too late to talk nicely now. Just a moment ago, I was only trying to have a peaceful dinner, but you were aggressive and overbearing. Now that you aren't willing to talk, I suppose I have to show you my strength so you’ll finally be willing to listen."

Liu Yuexian and Liu Yueru nodded in agreement. Liu Yuexian, seeing her brother-in-law stepping on the young master, felt a surge of satisfaction. "This degenerate actually tried to ask me out and even tried to touch me earlier. He’s a total pervert! I think the only right thing to do is to hand him over to the police."

Butler Chen interjected, "Our young master may have acted inappropriately, but there is no need to involve the police. We can settle this privately, can't we? If the master finds out his son was dragged away by the police from his own establishment, I won't be able to keep my position as butler."

Shen Guodong frowned. "Settle privately? How do you propose we do that? We were in high spirits, wanting to enjoy a meal here, but you’ve completely ruined our mood. If you don't cough up ten thousand or so, it won't be easy for me to let him go."

Butler Chen was taken aback by the exorbitant demand. "Don't be too arrogant, or you might find yourself choking on more than you can chew." It was clear the butler was no pushover, and under Shen Guodong’s threat, he was on the verge of exploding.

Shen Guodong saw this, but said nothing. A faint smile played on his lips as he pressed his foot down harder, causing Young Master Wang’s bones to audibly crack.

Young Master Wang, unaccustomed to such pain, shrieked, "Stop! Stop it, you bastard!"

Shen Guodong ignored the pleas and stared intently at Butler Chen, a smile still on his face. The butler felt sweat beads forming on his forehead; every crunch of the young master’s bones felt like a knife stabbing into him.

"I told you to stop!" the butler finally roared.

Shen Guodong flashed a wicked grin. "What’s the matter? Can’t take it anymore? Want to fight? Think about it—is it worth losing your job over ten thousand dollars? Who really gains and who loses?"

At these words, Butler Chen snapped and ordered his men, "Go get the money."

The black-clad henchmen had no choice. One of them ran upstairs and returned shortly with a bankbook containing ten thousand yuan. Shen Guodong took the bankbook and smiled. "That's more like it."

He hauled Young Master Wang up from the floor, but the young man was limp, as if he had no bones left, and collapsed back to the ground the moment he was released. Seeing the state of his young master, the butler’s eyes turned bloodshot. "Hurry! Get the young master and call an ambulance!" If anything happened to the young master on his watch, he would be held fully accountable.

The way the butler looked at Shen Guodong had changed entirely. As the henchmen moved toward him, Shen Guodong sneered, "It won't be that simple. I only gave you a chance to negotiate; I never said I was letting him go. This guy was incredibly disrespectful to us. The ten thousand is barely enough for an apology fee. You didn't think that would be the end of it, did you?"

Butler Chen’s eyes flared with murderous intent. "Mental distress fees? Fifty thousand? They haven't suffered any loss at all!"

"Oh, right. The mental distress fee applies to everyone, so that's fifty thousand per person—one hundred thousand in total. Bring the money, and I’ll release him."

Butler Chen realized the man was playing the rogue, but he had no choice. He growled, "Bring the money."

The bodyguard, feeling humiliated, grunted and stepped forward, producing a briefcase filled with one hundred thousand yuan in cash. He shoved it forward. "Are you satisfied now?"

Shen Guodong looked at the cash and laughed. "Good." He grabbed Young Master Wang by the collar and tossed him toward the men. The bodyguards scrambled to catch the young master—who was barely over five feet tall and frail—before rushing to call for an ambulance.

Butler Chen glared at Shen Guodong with seething rage. "Brat, who exactly are you? Do you have any idea what kind of influence the Wang family has in Fengcheng? If the master finds out about this, you’ll be finished."

Shen Guodong shook his head. "If I were afraid of being 'finished,' I wouldn't be here." He handed the briefcase to Liu Yuexian and the bankbook to Liu Yueru. "If you have any issues, go find Baldy," he said, before ushering the two women out.
