Chapter 47: The Ultra-Luxurious Villa
“Of course, we’re here to see if there’s a suitable villa for us,” He Tian replied with a gentle smile.
The sales office was extravagantly decorated, radiating an air of grandeur. Yet, for all its luxury, it wasn’t gaudy in the least. On the contrary, a sense of cultivated depth infused the space, as though something weighty and substantial had settled here over time.
For a villa community like Longhai Gardens to attract so many true business titans as residents, mere ostentation would never suffice. There must be substance beneath the surface for genuine magnificence to shine through. Of course, if one tried too hard to manufacture this sense of heritage, it would feel forced and excessive. Striking the right balance was crucial.
He Tian found the atmosphere here quite agreeable. Coupled with the popularity of Longhai Gardens and the steady influx of financial heavyweights, it was clear their strategy was a resounding success.
The saleswoman first invited He Tian and Wang Xinrou to take a seat and served them tea. Working in sales here meant operating at the very top tier—deals worth hundreds of millions were routine. What other sales position could compare? Naturally, the staff were of exceptional caliber, far beyond the norm.
Zeng Yiqian, as the sole remaining sales consultant at Longhai Gardens, was no exception. Though He Tian and Wang Xinrou looked young, their attire and manner marked them as anything but ordinary. The BMW parked just outside the office was further evidence that these two were not wanting for money.
As for whether they could actually afford a villa here, Zeng Yiqian didn’t concern herself with that. The only question was whether they intended to buy. In her experience, if someone truly wanted to purchase, the matter of ability ceased to be an issue.
“Sir, Miss, my name is Zeng Yiqian. How should I address you?” Zeng Yiqian sat down beside them, her smile sweet and her bearing impeccable, leaving nothing to fault.
“My surname is He, and this is Miss Wang. Miss Zeng, why don’t you tell us more about the current situation at Longhai Gardens?” He Tian smiled politely.
“So, Mr. He and Miss Wang! Here’s the situation: Longhai Gardens comprises thirty-three villas in total. To date, twenty-six have been sold; twenty-four are already occupied. If you’d like to make a purchase, I’m afraid you’ll have to choose from those that are still available.” Zeng Yiqian’s face bore an appropriately apologetic expression.
He Tian chuckled. He rather liked this Zeng Yiqian. She presented the reality—that the limited options testified to the popularity of Longhai Gardens—but made it sound as if the lack of selection was somehow her own failing, which only made her more likable.
It was clear that sales consultants here were extraordinary. He Tian didn’t know exactly what Zeng Yiqian’s commission might be, but even one percent of a villa’s price—often six, seven, or even eight hundred million—was a vast sum.
“Miss Zeng, I’ve heard that each villa in Longhai Gardens has its own unique style. Before making a decision, we’d like to tour the premises ourselves,” He Tian said with a smile.
“Naturally, Mr. He, Miss Wang—please, this way. We have our own sightseeing vehicle to take you around,” Zeng Yiqian replied graciously, standing up.
He Tian and Wang Xinrou boarded the sightseeing cart, heading deeper into the estate from the sales office. Longhai Gardens sprawled over an immense area. Each villa, in addition to its own spacious grounds, was separated from its neighbors by generous stretches of open space.
From a distance, it might appear sparse, but the landscaping was artfully arranged—trees, lawns, and seas of flowers appeared here and there. The greenery was superbly maintained.
“Each of our villas is designed with a distinct concept,” Zeng Yiqian explained as they traveled. “The idea is for discerning clients like yourselves to find the style you love most. All our villas are conceived as independent manors or fortresses, with rigorous property management ensuring your peace and privacy. No unauthorized person could ever disturb you.”
She spoke with such confidence and pride that it was easy to be convinced. He Tian nodded slightly, taking in his surroundings.
This truly was a world apart, a paradise hidden away. The proximity to the sea brought a gentle, invigorating breeze and the freshness of saltwater air. In terms of air quality alone, this place far surpassed the city. Moreover, with the sea at his doorstep, He Tian could cultivate his internal energy here, drawing in the purple energy from the east each morning—a boon for his martial progress beyond measure.
“What do you think?” He Tian asked, glancing at Wang Xinrou.
“It’s like heaven,” she replied demurely, almost ladylike in her serenity. “Though I’d like to see more detail.”
“Miss Wang, there’s an available villa just ahead—why don’t we take a look?” Zeng Yiqian suggested at just the right moment.
“Let’s have a look, then,” He Tian answered for her with a nod.
Wang Xinrou’s heart was a bundle of nerves. She knew she couldn’t afford a single villa here, yet they were being treated so attentively. She only felt a little calmer when she saw He Tian’s composed expression, but she still wondered privately what He Tian was really planning.
“Mr. He, Miss Wang—this way, please.” At the boundary of the villa, Zeng Yiqian led the way.
This wasn’t the villa He Tian had seen online, but its grounds were vast, and the architecture leaned toward a Western European style.
He Tian paused.
“Mr. He?” Zeng Yiqian noticed immediately.
“This villa isn’t by the sea. I’m not interested,” He Tian replied with a gentle shake of his head.
“So Mr. He prefers a seaside villa! Of our thirty-three, ten are right on the coast. Nine have already been sold—only one remains. I wonder if it will suit you and Miss Wang,” Zeng Yiqian said, delighted. Seaside villas were over two hundred million more expensive than the others; of course, she hoped they’d choose the priciest option for a bigger commission.
“Let’s go see it, then,” He Tian said cheerfully, reboarding the cart.
“That one must be even more expensive,” Wang Xinrou murmured.
“We’re only looking, so why not see the best?” He Tian replied with a slight smile.
Wang Xinrou rolled her eyes. All this just to satisfy a whim to look around—was He Tian really going to make the sales consultant go to all this trouble? She was starting to think He Tian could be quite mischievous.
Longhai Gardens was huge, but the roads were excellent and the sightseeing cart moved quickly. With Zeng Yiqian’s engaging introduction along the way, time seemed to pass unnoticed. He Tian also learned many details not available online; for example, there was a supermarket here.
Basic necessities and fresh produce could all be purchased within the community—there was no need to go outside. The quality of goods was top-notch, though of course, everything was expensive. But for those who could afford a villa here, who would quibble over such daily expenses? Impossible.
Other facilities were also in place for residents’ convenience. Though the number of inhabitants was small, everything was of the highest standard. This was the world of the wealthy: as long as you had money, you could enjoy the finest services life had to offer.
“Mr. He, Miss Wang, here it is—Villa Number 03.” They arrived at the seaside villa, and Zeng Yiqian began her introduction: “This villa covers thirty mu—over two hectares. All this expansive land is part of the property. Should you buy it, everything here becomes your private domain, with full usage rights.
“The villa itself has three floors and a total building area of two thousand square meters. Its style is a perfect blend of Chinese classical elements and modern technology. Please, come inside.”
She welcomed them in, continuing her introduction with ease, clearly deeply familiar with every detail.
He Tian and Wang Xinrou took their time, observing the layout, the vast basement, and the enormous garage. The swimming pool was set on the third floor, offering a view of the boundless sea. The sea breeze swept through, filling one with a sense of spaciousness.
“This is wonderful,” Wang Xinrou exclaimed, unable to hide her delight. Compared to this, the Wang family’s villa was utterly outclassed. The architectural and interior design here was exactly to her taste, and even the furniture was of the highest quality. This was a villa where one could move in with just a suitcase—ultra-luxurious in every way.
“Mr. He, Miss Wang, look over there—that’s your private beach. We’ve installed a range of facilities, including a small bathing area, and three hundred meters offshore, there’s a safety barrier that belongs exclusively to this villa. Dedicated staff ensure your safety at all times,” Zeng Yiqian said with a smile.
“We’re very satisfied—extremely satisfied. I’ll take it. What’s the price?” He Tian turned to Zeng Yiqian with a smile.
“The price is eight hundred and eighty-eight million,” she replied, delighted inside but keeping her composure.
Wang Xinrou tugged at He Tian, whispering, “Are you crazy? Eight hundred and eighty-eight million! Where would you get that kind of money?”
“Did you forget about Young Master Hai?” He Tian replied with a grin.
Wang Xinrou froze. She did recall that one of Young Master Hai’s promises was to let He Tian pick any villa he wished. Still… eight hundred and eighty-eight million! He Tian’s ‘freedom’ was truly audacious.
