At the dawn of the universe, there was only chaos.

After an unknown span of time, colossal beings began to stir within this chaos—these were the Primordial Beasts.

Hundreds of millions of years later, two such Primordial Beasts crossed paths. Their true names were Maodu and Yu Jia.

After several more hundreds of millions of years, Maodu and Yu Jia fell in love, even broadcasting the world of animals live.

Yet more eons passed, and their offspring was about to be born.

However, this child was extraordinary, seemingly unfit to be born within the universe itself. The cosmos held a profound fear of this imminent birth.

To ensure their beloved child could be safely born into the universe, Maodu and Yu Jia transformed themselves into anchors, intending to fix their child’s presence within the cosmos and prevent it from being expelled.

This alone reveals how defiant against the natural order this child was—so much so that its very parents had to become living talismans to protect it even before birth.

Parental love is grand and selfless, and so the child was successfully born.

“Roar!!!”

A dragon’s roar, shaking the universe itself, echoed throughout the cosmos. It sounded like a gratitude to its parents, a declaration of its existence to the universe, or perhaps an instinctive call.

No matter the reason, this dragon’s roar was magnificent, noble, and supreme. Every Primordial Beast in the universe who heard it felt awe and submission, as if in the presence of a god.

The dragon’s roar resonated like divine music, unending, and it summoned countless energies of primordial chaos to celebrate.

Chaos parted, revealing a colossal dragon radiating majestic light. The Primordial Beasts approached, bowing low in submission.

The grand scene of all the Primordial Beasts kneeling before the winged Dragon God at the universe’s center was sacred and magnificent—like a master artist’s painstaking creation depicting the birth of a divine dragon: majestic, unparalleled, and breathtaking, fully immersing all spectators in its splendor.

This winged Dragon God was named Gengchen, who claimed the title of Heavenly Origin Yinglong—the Yinglong from Chinese mythology, a colossal deity embodying creation, formation, and destruction.

Yinglong’s head was large and elongated, with a pointed snout, relatively small nostrils, eyes, and ears, but large eye sockets and prominent brow ridges. Its teeth were sharp, forehead pronounced, neck slender, belly broad, tail long and pointed, limbs strong, covered with scales and spines, and bore a pair of wings.

The Heavenly Origin Yinglong’s body radiated golden light, expanding as the dragon grew larger and began to fill the universe. Yet Yinglong sensed that the cosmos could not accommodate its entire form; if it continued to expand, it would burst the universe itself!

So, Yinglong restrained itself to a size of tens of thousands of zhang—a scale sufficient for ordinary activities.

But the universe was enraged.

If the universe were a person, its nails would be dug into its flesh, bleeding.

Yinglong was outrageously arrogant; such an anomaly should not exist within the universe. No universe could contain such an alien being, not even the chaotic sea’s most ominous entities were so unreasonable.

Thus, the universe’s will manifested as the Ancestral Serpent God, with one purpose: to expel this unfit presence!

A serpent god of unimaginable size, its head and tail lost to sight, challenged the Heavenly Origin Yinglong seated upon its throne.

“Roar!!!”

Yinglong responded to the Ancestral Serpent God and its challenge with a trembling roar imbued with boundless divine power—unbearable to hear, impossible to face, and not to be approached.

“Roar!!!”

“Hisssss!!!”

Dragon roars and serpent hisses clashed—the dragon god and serpent god, the strongest beings in the universe, engaged in combat. This was the decisive battle of ultimate cosmic power.

In the first round, tentative strikes led to a stalemate, causing ripples that shook the universe.

In the second round, both fought more earnestly; Yinglong gained a slight edge, and the aftershocks created dimensional rifts.

The third round saw serious confrontation; Yinglong held the advantage, and the universe fractured with dimensional faults.

In the fourth round, Yinglong wounded the Ancestral Serpent God, causing the universe to collapse under the strain.

In the fifth round, the Ancestral Serpent God fought with full strength, but Yinglong’s resolve intensified, leaving the serpent gravely injured. The aftershocks shattered the chaotic sea beyond the universe.

In the sixth round, the serpent struggled desperately, but Yinglong’s determination surged again, nearly killing the Ancestral Serpent God and carving out a hemispherical void in the chaotic sea.

Within seven rounds, Yinglong defeated the Ancestral Serpent God.

After an unknown time, the Ancestral Serpent God recovered and, believing herself invincible, immediately confronted Yinglong again.

The dragon and serpent entwined—each within the other, striving for dominance. The serpent was pressed beneath the dragon’s body, and Yinglong transformed into a farmer, diligently tilling the land.

In their entwined embrace, time slipped away. Forgetting all else, they devoted themselves to exploring the universe’s mysteries and the origins of life—pondering the purpose of their existence.

Was it hundreds of millions of years? Or tens of billions?

Eventually, the dragon and serpent reluctantly parted from each other’s warmth, beginning to create a home of love.

Thus, a new universe was born. To continue broadcasting the animal world within this new cosmos, Yinglong and the Ancestral Serpent God fashioned a planet, naming it the Ancestral Origin Star. Later, humans living there came to call their mother planet Blue Star.

For a romantic atmosphere, they created a vast, boundless inner world within the Ancestral Origin Star—the Inner Earth.

Within this Inner Earth, Yinglong and the Ancestral Serpent God lived joyously, singing and dancing every day.

As the Ancestral Origin Star took form, it gradually gave birth to its own heavens and earth, nurturing new life.

All seemed to be heading toward a happy ending, yet fate had other plans.

Approximately 66 million years before the birth of Mu Changge, the Ancestral Origin Star was ruled by a species called the dinosaurs.

But on one fateful day, a singular cosmic being from the distant Storm Nebula—the Storm—descended upon the Ancestral Origin Star.

The Storm triggered a mass extinction event and shattered the self-formed heavens and earth of the Ancestral Origin Star.

This act caught the attention of Yinglong within the Inner Earth. The Storm, sensing Yinglong’s gaze, immediately transformed into a well-behaved child and fell asleep out of fear.

Yinglong understood the Storm was a creation of the Ancestral Serpent God and knew she would protect it, so he inquired about her true intentions.

The Ancestral Serpent God replied that she loved all her children. Thus, the universe’s cycle of birth, growth, peak, decline, destruction, and rebirth was a manifestation of love for her children. This was a process her children must undergo and accept as love. A universe that had never experienced destruction and rebirth was imperfect, flawed, and unreasonable.

Because of this, Yinglong and the Ancestral Serpent God parted ways.

Due to differing stances and viewpoints, the dragon and serpent once again faced opposition.

Using the Ancestral Origin Star as their stage, they began their game of strategy.

[Character Settings]

Uroboros

The Ancestral Serpent God

A deity representing the universe, infinity, and eternity.

Known by many names—Tail-Biting Serpent, Ouroboros, Self-Devouring Serpent—embodying unity, immortality, completeness, infinity, the world, and wisdom.

Legends claim the earthly giant serpent Jormungandr and the dark god Apophis are incarnations of her, though in truth, there is no connection. The original deity cares little for such absurd rumors.

Her true form resides within the Inner Earth of the Ancestral Origin Star, perhaps waiting for her former lover, Heavenly Origin Yinglong, to understand her.

In terms of power, she ranks second in this narrative, classified as an extracosmic-level deity. (Note: “extracosmic-level” is a category created specifically for Gengchen and Uroboros.)

If power were scored out of 100, Gengchen would be exactly 100, while Uroboros would be 99.999... approaching 100 infinitely, with the third strongest only scoring 1.

Except for Gengchen, no other powerful entity can defeat, resist, or oppose Uroboros—she is an absolute god. (Note: Gengchen ranks first, Uroboros second; both serve as overpowered characters akin to “Mary Sues” in the story; others are insignificant.)

Appearance: ethereal white hair, heterochromatic eyes (left sapphire blue, right ruby red), wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with “Invincible,” appearing as a 17 or 18-year-old girl.

Though seemingly a frivolous and unconventional youth, provoking her would unleash an overwhelmingly dangerous supreme being.
