The World Beneath the Earth.
Uroboros was fiddling with a Go board.
“So that is how it is. The little humans of the Huaxia Realm really are interesting. To think they could design such a toy.”
After arranging the board, Uroboros looked toward a certain point in the starry sky.
“Gengchen, you left the Origin Ancestral Star so soon. Is that because you have faith in the Huaxia Realm, or have you already devised a winning strategy?”
As he spoke, the ruby radiance of Uroboros’s right eye began surveying the Huaxia Realm, while his left eye remained tightly shut.
Having decided that he looked rather handsome this way, Uroboros intended not to open his left eye so easily again.
Though Uroboros was at his most perfect with his mismatched red-and-blue eyes, there was another kind of charm to him when he kept one eye closed and looked somewhat theatrically adolescent.
After taking in the entire state of the Huaxia Realm, Uroboros withdrew his gaze.
“That fellow Gengchen—couldn’t he simply stay on the Origin Ancestral Star and keep me company?” Uroboros complained.
“Hmph! In that case, I shall decide the future direction of the Origin Ancestral Star myself!”
“Let me think...”
“In the Huaxia Realm, Little Haotian is handling matters. In the Greek Realm, Little Kronos is in charge. In the Egyptian Realm, Little Harakhte is taking care of things...”
“Hmm... It seems that now is not a suitable time for any changes.”
“Oh? Those disgusting things living in the Sea of Chaos have noticed this universe?”
By “those disgusting things,” Uroboros meant the eldritch gods dwelling in the Chaotic Royal Court. Naturally, he also considered the god of blind idiocy growing over the Central Throne one of those “disgusting things.”
“Forget it. I do not need to take action anyway. To dare make trouble while the Origin Ancestral Star is still in its Mythic Age—what nerve.”
“I might as well play some Go to relieve my boredom.”
Having made up his mind, Uroboros began playing against himself.

Mu Changge and Athena rode the Primordial Mother Goddess Nuwa’s thunder chariot for the first time.
The enormous chariot moved with astonishing speed. Mu Changge could not see the scenery around him at all; he only felt himself surrounded by light as he flew toward the North Star.
Athena was conversing with the Primordial Mother Goddess Nuwa in divine speech, naturally recounting the various things she had witnessed during her time in the Greek Realm.
Even the ancient gods were subject to differences in regional outlook. The strange tales Athena related were clearly difficult for the Primordial Mother Goddess Nuwa to comprehend.
Before long, they arrived before the Northern Heavenly Gate, at the northern edge of the Heavenly Principle Purple Tenuity Enclosure.
The Northern Heavenly God Xuanming, who had been waiting there to receive the gods, stepped forward and stopped the chariot.
“Greetings, Primordial Mother Goddess. His Majesty the Supreme Sovereign has decreed that, unless granted his permission, no chariot belonging to an ancient god may enter the Heavenly Principle Purple Tenuity Enclosure.”
“In that case, I shall proceed on foot,” the Primordial Mother Goddess Nuwa replied.
“Thank you for your understanding, Primordial Mother Goddess!” the Northern Heavenly God Xuanming said respectfully.
The Primordial Mother Goddess Nuwa, Athena, and Mu Changge descended from the thunder chariot. Nuwa ordered the true dragon driving the chariot to wait there with the attendants.
Mu Changge looked toward the gate before him.
It was a vast gate wreathed in clouds and mist, imposing and magnificent beyond measure. Strange divine patterns flowed across its pillars, which had been carved from sacred stone, radiating a wondrous divine charm. Upon the plaque above the gate were four great characters written in immense divine power: Northern Heavenly Gate. Profound principles were concealed within them.
Even a true god could easily be drawn in by the power radiating from those divine characters and become lost in their wondrous principles.
Athena used her divine power to rouse Mu Changge from his trance, then placed a blessing upon him.
The Primordial Mother Goddess looked at the Northern Heavenly God Xuanming and said, “I never imagined that the former Sea God Yúqiang would earn the trust of the Supreme Sovereign Haotian. Now, as the Northern Heavenly God Xuanming, you command the Seven Northern Mansions.”
The Northern Heavenly God Xuanming immediately replied, “I am honored by His Majesty’s favor.”
The Primordial Mother Goddess Nuwa nodded, then produced a divine scourge and handed it to Xuanming.
“This is my congratulatory gift for the Supreme Sovereign Haotian.”
“Thank you, Primordial Mother Goddess!”
The Northern Heavenly God Xuanming accepted the divine scourge and respectfully gestured for them to enter.
The Primordial Mother Goddess Nuwa then led Mu Changge and Athena through the Northern Heavenly Gate.
Beyond the Northern Heavenly Gate lay the interior of the Heavenly Principle Purple Tenuity Enclosure.
The enclosure was guarded by the Grand Unity Astral Image Formation arranged by the Supreme Sovereign Haotian. The formation used the solar essence of the Sun Star and the lunar essence of the Moon Star as its primary anchors, supplemented by the astral power of the stars throughout the heavens.
The Grand Unity Astral Image Formation was chiefly intended for defense. It possessed none of the offensive capabilities of the Nine Heavens Eight Trigrams Formation, but in terms of protective power, it was by no means inferior.

Within the Northern Heavenly Gate stood a group of ancient gods whom the Northern Heavenly God Xuanming had arranged to serve as guides.
When one of them saw the Primordial Mother Goddess Nuwa enter with two attendants, he immediately stepped forward to greet her and offered to lead them to the main palace.
The Primordial Mother Goddess Nuwa accepted his offer and followed the ancient god toward the main palace.
As they proceeded behind their guide, Mu Changge saw towering, majestic divine towers, ancient and magnificent palaces, and enormous platforms whose purposes he could not discern.
The buildings were laid out with strict axial symmetry, displaying the imposing grandeur of the Supreme Sovereign.
Every structure was exquisitely carved and magnificent beyond compare. At the same time, clouds of many colors and soaring serpents formed the roads, making Mu Changge feel as though he were wandering through a mirage.
This was the divine court established by the Supreme Sovereign Haotian—the Heavenly Principle Purple Tenuity Enclosure!
The second divine court of the Huaxia Realm!
Before long, they arrived at a colossal divine palace that gleamed with gold and jade and rose into the clouds.
The palace was shrouded in the divine aura emanating from the Supreme Sovereign Haotian’s supreme treasure, the Primordial Unity Imperial Bell, and endless heavenly might permeated the surroundings.
Above the ancient and enormous entrance stood a plaque fashioned from an unknown divine stone. Written upon it in the Supreme Sovereign Haotian’s supreme divine power were three divine characters:
The Palace of Grand Unity!
This palace had been named after the Supreme Sovereign Haotian’s divine title, making clear how highly he valued it.
Above the divine palace, nine true dragons guarded the Supreme Sovereign Haotian’s supreme treasure, the Primordial Unity Imperial Bell.
All nine true dragons had been sent by the True Dragon Clan to serve the Supreme Sovereign Haotian as attendants, a clear indication of the clan’s regard for him.
The nine horned dragons, each born with a pair of wings, circled the Primordial Unity Imperial Bell. Their draconic majesty, combined with the might of the supreme treasure, made the entire divine palace seem inviolable, unapproachable, and beyond all disrespect.
Mu Changge gazed upon the magnificent scene before him and inwardly marveled at the Supreme Sovereign Haotian’s sheer extravagance.
After all, Mu Changge had read web novels from the Dragon Kingdom. He knew of the Nine Dragons Pulling a Coffin, but he had never imagined that the Supreme Sovereign Haotian would create a Nine-Dragon Guardian Palace.
For that alone, Mu Changge was willing to bestow upon him a single word of praise:
Genius!
The guiding ancient god reported their arrival to the ancient gods guarding the entrance of the divine palace. He then bid farewell to the Primordial Mother Goddess Nuwa and departed.
The Primordial Mother Goddess Nuwa led Mu Changge and Athena through the gates of the divine palace.
