Chapter Twelve: The Bathroom Incident
Because they needed treatment, Dongfang Yuyue and the other two settled temporarily at the Medical Nether Valley for convenience. It was no coincidence—or perhaps a deliberate arrangement—that Dongfang Yuyue’s residence was unusually close to Luo Qianfan’s, separated by only a single wall.
That night, Dongfang Yuyue slept exceptionally well. The crescent moon quietly rose, casting a gentle glow over the Medical Nether Valley.
...
At dusk, near the restroom area.
“Ouch, ow, hiss... are you still not feeling better?”
“Pfft, pfft—don’t rush, it’s coming soon.”
“Ah, I can’t hold it much longer...”
“Alright, alright, stop yelling already...”
“Oh my, quick, quick, it’s happening again...”
“Hmph, hmm ahhh—”
“I can’t take it anymore...”
...
Gui Fang and Chi Ming clutched their stomachs, hopping around in discomfort, urgently stomping their feet. Their cries echoed for miles, yet no one came to their aid.
Strangely enough, such a vast Medical Nether Valley still locked its doors at night, leaving them to suffer through their diarrhea with no recourse but to wait.
At this moment, the two were so engrossed in their desperate scramble for the restroom that they had completely forgotten their earlier rude behavior toward Luo Qianfan and others; they underestimated the vengeful nature of women, naïvely thinking it was just a bout of upset stomach.
Meanwhile, hiding in the bushes just beyond the wall, Bai Yu watched their embarrassing antics with schadenfreude, laughing heartily. Bai Yu probably only wished this scene had been recorded—otherwise, these two would become infamous within days. Hahaha...
After tossing and turning most of the night, Gui Fang and Chi Ming finally heard someone unlocking the door. Before it was fully opened, Gui Fang, in a panic, rushed through, not even hearing the person behind say:
“Hey, that’s strange. Why was the door locked when it was fine before?” The person scratched their head in confusion and quietly walked away.
Had Gui Fang held on a little longer to hear these words, they would never have assumed their ailment was merely food poisoning.
As the two dashed out, they soon spotted a dark figure approaching—it was none other than Dongfang Yuyue. Instinctively, they tried to evade him, but they seemed to forget how sharp-eyed and quick-handed His Highness the Prince Yu was.
“Where are you two going?” Dongfang Yuyue had noticed their sneaky escape attempts early this morning. Now, trying to hide from him? Was he really that terrifying? Mingling this thought with his otherwise good mood, Dongfang Yuyue’s entire body temperature instantly dropped to ice.
With his hands behind his back, brows slightly furrowed, he strode forward with a hint of anger.
Exchanging glances, Gui Fang and Chi Ming reluctantly recounted the events of the previous night.
After hearing their story, Dongfang Yuyue’s expression softened slightly, his eyes gleaming with sharp insight. He sensed this was no ordinary diarrhea but said nothing further, merely casting them a glance before letting them go.
If they weren’t mistaken, the look he gave as he left was one of disdain?
Oh dear...
Later, they encountered Luo Qianfan. Unlike their unworldly master, the young lord of the Medical Nether Valley was far more astute. He immediately bombarded them with a barrage of concerned questions before offering some so-called miraculous elixirs.
Sure enough, within no time, their discomfort eased considerably. After resting a while, the weakness completely vanished, and they bounced about as lively as newborns.
This episode of diarrhea was entirely cured thanks to Luo Qianfan’s various miraculous remedies, and as a result, their attitude toward him transformed dramatically, becoming fervently warm—practically treating him like a treasured idol.
