During the screening, even though he knew this was not a true story, Qin Feng still felt a deep sense of dread.

He thought to himself:
This director, Oren Peli, is truly a master of horror!
His very first film is this impressive.

Because Qin Feng had always focused on big-budget special effects movies, he rarely watched pure horror films in his daily life.
Even in his past life, he had only heard of *Paranormal Activity* without ever actually watching it.
Now, watching it from beginning to end without missing a second, he could not help but feel an inexplicable terror.

At the very end of the film,
Director Peli provided three different versions with distinct endings.
The version currently playing showed the female protagonist possessed by a ghost at the end, murdering the male protagonist.

As the movie concluded,
the audience felt both terrified and thrilled, buzzing with excitement as they slowly filed out.

Qin Feng patted Scarlett on the shoulder and said, "Let's head out too."
Scarlett had not yet recovered from the lingering fear and grabbed his arm tightly.

The two walked out of the movie theater.
The surrounding buildings were lit up, providing a comforting sense of security.

"Qin, that movie was so terrifying."
"Yeah, it's my first time watching it too."
"It seems that company of yours—what was it called—has some real talent."
"It's called Blumhouse. Well, it really is well-made and genuinely scary."

As they walked, Qin Feng continued:
"At this rate, as long as word of mouth spreads, the box office will definitely be fantastic."

Thinking of Scarlett's movie opening the next day, he felt he should give her some encouragement.
"Of course, and you don't need to worry either; your romantic film is bound to do wonderfully... Speaking of which, Scarlett, I'm planning to take time off tomorrow afternoon to attend your premiere."

"Really?" Scarlett looked at him with affection filling her eyes.
"Of course. Though I'll just sit in the audience to watch the movie while you go on stage to promote it."
"That's wonderful! Qin Feng, you're the best!"

The fact that Qin Feng was taking time off to attend her premiere made her extremely happy.
Taking advantage of his distraction, she quickly planted a kiss on his cheek.

Qin Feng was momentarily stunned. "Scarlett, when did you learn to launch sneak attacks? That's cheating."
"I demand to kiss you back."
"Haha, Qin, come and catch me..."
Scarlett laughed and ran off ahead.

Returning to his apartment,
he sent separate text messages to Jason Blum and Oren Peli:
[I just went to see the film. It's truly terrifying, the final cut is fantastic, and the attendance rate is very high. Let's wait for good news at the box office!]

The next day, Qin Feng arranged his pending work and left Warner Bros.
Wearing a pair of sunglasses and his usual white suit, he drove his car to a theater in downtown Los Angeles.

This was the premiere for *He's Just Not That Into You*.
When he arrived, it was already four o'clock in the afternoon.
Scarlett and the other creators of the film had arrived long before.

Outside the theater, a red carpet was rolled out, flanked by poster backdrop boards, surrounded by fresh flowers, balloons, and fluttering colorful ribbons.
There were quite a few entertainment reporters on-site conducting interviews, along with hundreds of fans, many of whom were Scarlett's supporters.

Qin Feng kept his head down and tried his best to push forward.
Ahead of him were barricades and security guards, blocking his way further.

"Sir, please step back." A security guard stopped him.
"Alright." Qin Feng raised his head and caught sight of Scarlett on the red carpet, currently in the middle of an interview.

With her blonde hair cascading over her shoulders, crimson lipstick, and an off-the-shoulder light yellow evening gown, she looked even more stunning and breathtaking.

Qin Feng waved at her and called out in the manner of an ordinary fan, "Scarlett, you're the best! I'll support you forever!"

Suddenly hearing a familiar voice, Scarlett turned around and instantly spotted Qin Feng standing in the front row.
*My Qin Feng in all white looks so handsome!*
Her smile grew even brighter as she gave him a subtle, gentle wave, not daring to make her movements too obvious.
With interviews still ongoing, she turned back to answer questions.

Qin Feng decided not to disturb her any further.
The two of them had discussed it privately: although tabloids had previously exposed them, it was still best to keep things low-key for now.
They would not announce their relationship at this stage; they could talk about it after some time had passed.

Qin Feng also spotted Ben Affleck in the venue, who was also busy giving interviews.
"Big Ben" looked tall and handsome in a black suit with short hair, a lean face, and bright, starry eyes. He had shaved off his beard, revealing the distinct dimple in the middle of his chin.

Aside from Ben Affleck and Scarlett, there were many other beautiful actresses on the red carpet, making the entire event a feast for the eyes.

Scanning the scene filled with reporters and security guards, Qin Feng realized it wasn't a good time to interact with them just yet. He decided to just watch the movie first.

Ten minutes later, the interviews concluded, and everyone entered the theater with their tickets.
Qin Feng had booked his ticket in advance and, after collecting it, found his seat.
The creative team was seated in the front row as usual.

After a brief introduction by the host, the lights went out, and the movie began on screen.

The story primarily followed the seemingly convoluted yet common romantic entanglements of several young friends.
After watching for a while, Qin Feng realized this movie was primarily tailored for female audiences. No wonder the people sitting around him were mostly women.

The film was quite well-made, and he found himself completely engrossed.
Normally, he didn't watch many romance films.
In his own words, pure romance movies were nothing more than toxic chicken soup.

Two hours later,
the screening ended, and the lights came back on.
Applause erupted throughout the theater.

The host took the stage and invited the creative team up.
Audience members shared their viewing experiences.

When the reporter directed a question at Scarlett:
"Miss Johansson, media outlets previously reported that you've started a new relationship and even published photos. How is that progressing now?"

Scarlett took the microphone and smiled politely. "Everything is great, and I'm enjoying this wonderful time. If there are any new developments, I will let everyone know."

"Word has it that your boyfriend is a handsome Asian guy. Is that true? Can you share any new details with us?"
"Well, um... when the time is right, it will be announced. Please be patient. All I can say is that right now, we cherish each other deeply."

Sitting in the audience, Qin Feng quietly watched her on stage, his gaze filled with tenderness.
*At the right moment, we will make it public.*

The event lasted for about an hour.
The creative team exited first while the reporters and audience remained seated for a moment.
Qin Feng waited for her outside ahead of time.

When Scarlett saw him, she told the rest of the creative team to go on ahead and specifically called out to Ben Affleck.
"Ben, please wait a moment. Let me introduce you to a friend."
Big Ben stopped in his tracks. "Oh... who is it?"

Scarlett waved her hand.
Qin Feng bypassed the security guard, walked straight over, and said cordially, "Hello, Mr. Affleck."
Scarlett introduced him: "This is my friend, Qin Feng. He is a film director."

Big Ben looked between Scarlett and Qin Feng with a puzzled expression.
Realizing that the young Asian man before him was handsome and poised, sudden understanding dawned on him, and the corners of his mouth curled up into a grin:
"Haha... buddy, if I'm not mistaken, you must be Scarlett's boyfriend, right?"

Qin Feng smiled, nodded, and extended his hand. "Yes, it's very nice to meet you."
