"Damn, I’ve only used my skills twice, and my spiritual energy is almost drained. At this rate, it’s only a matter of time before they catch me."
Just then, Big Horse Monkey and Er Gou each fired a thermal grenade beside the trees on either side, then slid toward each other on their snowboards. The steel cables attached to their missiles crossed paths as they moved.
“Dumpling, be careful!” Before Su He could warn Dumpling, the Southern Merchant fired a thermal grenade at him.
“Damn it! White Scale Shield!” Dumpling instantly summoned the white scale shield in front of him, then poured the last of his spiritual energy into unleashing a blizzard toward the Southern Merchant.
But at that moment, Dumpling tripped over the steel cables tangled ahead between Big Horse Monkey and Er Gou. Su He felt a violent jolt and was flung backward, the blizzard in her hand striking a nearby tree and freezing it solid instantly.
“Su He! Su He, are you okay?” Jiji Maomao ran over and tried to help Su He up, but exhausted, she had already lost consciousness. Jiji Mao saw the Southern Merchant approaching them.
“Mao Mao, protect the king!”
“Yes, King Jiji!” Mao Mao scooped up some snow from the ground and threw it at the three Southern Merchants.
“I will protect King Jiji!”
“Hey, what wild monkey are you? Get lost!” Big Horse Monkey kicked Mao Mao away, then grabbed Jiji and roughly tossed him aside before respectfully letting the Southern Merchant lead the way.
“Boss, we caught everything you wanted.”
“Good job. When we get back, there’ll be a rich reward.”
“Thank you, boss.”
Dumpling glared furiously at the three men and the unconscious Su He, then suddenly stood up and roared.
“Hmph, behave yourself.” The Southern Merchant pressed a button, and the steel cable wrapped around Dumpling pulsed with a powerful electric current, knocking him to the ground.
“Big Horse Monkey, fire another thermal grenade at the big polar bear, just in case he wakes up and runs off. Er Gou, tie that person up for me. If he wakes and struggles, zap him with electricity too.”
“Also, contact Bald Strong and have him bring the car over. When he arrives, hide that person for me—otherwise, those two might stir up trouble again.”
“Yes, boss.”
Meanwhile, Bear Two, searching for food, ran into Bear One who was looking for him.
“Hey, Bear Two, stop fooling around and come home with me.”
“No, I’m not fooling around, and I’m not going back. I’m going to find Dumpling.”
Back under the big rock, Bear Two looked around and saw no one. Panic surged.
“Dumpling! Dumpling! Su He! Su He! Where are you?”
At that moment, Jiji darted out from the nearby grass.

“Bear One, Bear Two, hurry, save them! They’ve been captured!”
“Jiji, don’t panic. Slowly tell us—who’s been captured?”
“Big Bear and Su He were taken, and Mao Mao and the others too. Those villains took them to town.”
Upon hearing that Big Bear and Su He were captured, Bear Two dashed off, following the wheel tracks in the snow. “Dumpling, Su He, don’t be afraid, I’m coming.”
“Wait, Bear Two!”
Soon, a frantic Bear Two arrived in town. “Hey, the wheel tracks—where did they go?”
As he searched, Bear Two noticed someone standing in front of him. He hurried to ask,
“Excuse me, have you seen—?”
“Bears talking!” Before Bear Two could finish, the man threw down his shovel and ran off, leading a group of armed men in pursuit.
“Ah, what the hell! Why are you chasing me?”
Panicked, Bear Two ran into an alley and was suddenly pulled inside. Turning, he saw it was Bear One and sighed with relief.
“Bear One, what are you doing here?”
“You came here yourself. Do you know how dangerous it is?”
“I don’t care. I have to rescue Su He and Dumpling!” Saying that, he tried to leave.
“Hey, come back! You’ll get beaten if you run off like that!”
“I don’t care. Dumpling and Su He are my best friends. I have to save them!” Bear Two said, tears streaming down his face.
“Enough with the crying! Do you even know where they are?” Bear One snapped.
Watching Bear One and Bear Two bicker, Jiji shouted angrily,
“Bear One, Bear Two, shut up! This isn’t the time for nagging. Don’t you have any sympathy?”
“Jiji, what’s wrong with you?” Bear One asked, puzzled at Jiji’s tears.
“Mao Mao was captured too, did you know? If anything happens to him, who will do the chores for me?”
Bear One and Bear Two exchanged helpless looks.
“So, what’s your plan to find them?”
“Well, that depends on whether Bear Two is willing to sacrifice himself.”

“As long as it saves Dumpling and Su He, I’m willing to do anything.”
“Good. Then witness a miracle.” Jiji pulled out an apple tied with a string and dangled it in front of Bear Two.
“Repeat after me: I am a dog.”
“I am a dog.”
“What a great idea—to hypnotize Bear Two into a dog for tracking,” Bear One exclaimed.
After about ten minutes, Bear One and Bear Two, dressed in clothes, were seen leading a dog-like Jiji, searching the streets and alleys.
“You said you’d sacrifice me, so why did you turn into a dog? But Bear One, do you think this will find those three?”
“How would I know? I’m not the dog.”
After Jiji rummaged around like a dog, they finally found Mao Mao near some trash.
“Mao Mao, wake up.”
“Where am I? Oh, King Jiji, I’m so glad you’re here. I thought I’d never see you again.”
Bear Two hurriedly asked Mao Mao,
“Mao Mao, where did those villains take Dumpling and Su He?”
“They’ve already boarded the train. We have to hurry.”
Soon, Jiji, awake and leading Bear One, Bear Two, and Mao Mao, commandeered an off-road vehicle from the auto shop to chase after the train, tossing some bananas to the attendant as thanks.
On the train, Bald Strong carried a bucket of fish and opened the door to Dumpling’s compartment. Dumpling growled fiercely when he saw him, scaring Bald Strong to the side. Sniffing the fish, he looked disappointed and lay back down.
“I—I brought you food. Don’t worry, I won’t hurt you. You’re the legendary Great White Bear, right? The one Old Zhao has been talking about for years? Your horns are so strange—could you be fake?”
At that moment, Dumpling growled low again, as if sensing some trouble approaching.
“Ahem.” Hearing a noise outside, Bald Strong quickly hid among the nearby clutter.
