Arriving on Earth, I never imagined I would end up feeding others.

My Alien Girlfriend Qian Xiaoqi 2581 words 2026-04-13 22:40:40

Xiao Qi immediately fell back on her old excuse, “I’ve lost my memory, so naturally I forgot how to drive.”

She really couldn’t drive, and she didn’t believe in accepting gifts without earning them. She wasn’t truly Lin Yichen’s girlfriend, so she couldn’t take the car.

With that in mind, Xiao Qi shoved the keys into Aunt Fang’s hands. “Auntie, I can’t drive. So this car is just scrap metal to me. Why don’t you drive it back and return it to him? Okay?”

Although Xiyang and Lin Yichen had dated before, they weren’t together now.

It really wasn’t appropriate to accept such an extravagant gift.

And Xiyang had lost her memory—she couldn’t drive anyway, so the car was useless.

“Alright, I’ll take it back for you,” Fang Yun agreed. After a moment’s thought, she added, “And that poster still hasn’t been signed, has it? Take it over now, and while you’re at it, deliver his lunch. He gives you a car, you bring him lunch—seems fair, doesn’t it?”

Xiao Qi naturally had no objection.

With skilled hands at the wheel of the luxury car, they reached the towering skyscraper in just fifteen minutes.

It was Fang Yun’s first time driving such a car, and she couldn’t quite control the speed—the ride was fast, almost reckless.

Xiao Qi stepped out, dizzy and nauseous, and had to stand still for a while to recover.

Fang Yun handed her the car keys, speaking with deliberate emphasis, “Remember, private matters before business.”

Fang Yun knew you couldn’t enter TC without an employee badge, so she’d called Fang Li ahead of time.

Fang Li was already waiting at the company entrance.

Seeing the pair get out of the car, he immediately stepped forward to take the food from her hands.

But Xiao Qi didn’t let him, “I’ll deliver it myself.”

If she gave him the takeout, it would look as though she really was the boss’s wife.

Fang Li didn’t insist. “I’ll escort Miss Ye inside.”

“Thank you!”

This time, Xiao Qi was dressed in a delivery uniform. The employees in the lobby stared in shock, as if their eyes might pop out.

“No way—this girl is a delivery person?”

“The CEO actually likes a food delivery girl?”

A single look from Fang Li silenced them; everyone immediately lowered their heads and focused on their work.

Fang Li led her to the lounge. “Miss Ye, President Lin is in a meeting right now. Please wait here.”

“Oh, okay.”

“I’ll get you something to drink.”

“No, no, I’m not thirsty,” she said quickly, overwhelmed by his enthusiasm. “You go ahead, I’ll just rest here for a bit.”

“Alright!”

Fang Li thought to fetch her a blanket in case she dozed off and caught a chill.

He saw her scrolling through her phone, though, and it was midsummer—she wouldn’t get cold.

Bored after a few minutes, Xiao Qi thought, He’s in his meeting, so why not just leave the lunch in his office and be done with it?

With that, she picked up the food and stepped out.

She’d been here several times and knew the CEO’s office perfectly well. Knowing he was in a meeting, she didn’t bother to knock—she simply pushed open the door.

To her surprise, the man was sitting in his chair.

President Lin was in a video conference. Seeing her enter, he made no move to stop her, but continued with his meeting.

“Finished already?” she asked, assuming he’d been in the conference room. She placed the food beside him and set the car keys down as well. “Don’t send me gifts anymore. Giving me a luxury car puts a lot of pressure on me.”

The executives in the video call stared, utterly dumbfounded at her words.

Xiao Qi didn’t even notice the laptop was still connected. “And another thing, stop grabbing me by the neck all the time. I’m a person, not your pet. From now on, you’d better treat me with more respect…”

Chattering away, she remembered her errand. She spread out the poster, “My aunt says, if you sign here, the meal will be twenty percent off. Twenty percent! That’s a huge saving for you!”

“Oh, and let me be clear—my mind is a blank slate right now, so don’t be too nice to me. If possible, please stop liking me. The better you treat me, the more pressure I feel.”

The people on the other end of the call stared wide-eyed, as if they’d just heard a world-shattering secret.

Not knowing what else she might say, Yichen closed the laptop.

He picked up the pen and signed with a flourish—decisive and elegant.

“Wow, you have beautiful handwriting.”

No sooner had she spoken than she was swept into his arms and settled on his lap…

For a moment, Xiao Qi was dazed. As soon as she realized what was happening, she started struggling.

“Hey, what are you doing?”

His strong hands held her waist, making escape impossible.

“Take back what you just said.”

His gaze was cold, his tone harsh, making Xiao Qi feel a faint sense of fear.

But all she could smell was the overwhelming scent of his cologne, and in front of her was an impossibly handsome face, lips thin and inviting—she felt a wild urge to pounce on him.

Desire is a dangerous thing—stay calm.

Glancing at the food, she found her excuse.

“Let me go—let me feed you, how about that?”

At her words, his expression eased slightly.

“What you just said…”

“I take it back, I take it back.”

He released her. Xiao Qi immediately hopped off his lap, nearly fleeing.

Ah, a man’s word is his bond.

Feeding him isn’t such a big deal, is it?

I am, after all, a resourceful alien.

Xiao Qi opened the meal box and picked up the spoon.

“Open up,” she commanded, her tone anything but gentle.

Yet Yichen’s lips curled into a faint smile.

His dark eyes never left her face; he barely noticed what he was eating—only that the meal tasted sweet and fragrant.

Meanwhile, in another office.

Joanna walked into Fang Li’s office and asked directly, “Is President Lin still in a meeting?”

Fang Li knew Xiao Qi was in the CEO’s office, and once she was inside, President Lin was unlikely to let her leave quickly.

He kept a neutral expression. “President Lin is still in a meeting. I can’t say when he’ll be finished. Please wait in the lounge, Miss Qiao. As soon as the meeting ends, I’ll inform you right away.”

Joanna had no choice but to wait.

She headed to the lounge, but someone called her name. She turned to see who it was.

Xu Hui smiled. “Are you waiting to see President Lin, Miss Qiao?”

Joanna answered with a question of her own, “Is there something you need, Manager Xu?”

“Nothing at all,” Xu Hui replied, still smiling, “I was just curious. You seem very interested in this art exhibition, Miss Qiao?”

“Yes,” she replied smoothly, “I’m actually a painting enthusiast myself.”

Xu Hui didn’t bother with small talk. “Let’s be frank. It was I who spoke to your father, suggesting he introduce you to Lin Yichen. That’s why your father called, and why you returned to the country so quickly.” He lowered his voice, “Miss Qiao, I’ve heard you and Lin Yichen were quite close in the past. Yet now, it seems as if you barely know each other. Why is that?”

“You believe everything you hear?” Joanna’s expression was cool. “If I already knew President Lin, why would I need to be set up on a date with him? I only came back because my father said Lin Yichen is talented, capable, and comes from a good family. That’s all.”

Xu Hui kept smiling. Clearly, he wouldn’t get anything more out of her.

The meal was finally finished; Xiao Qi’s arm ached from feeding him.

Damn it—coming to Earth, and I’ve actually been reduced to feeding someone else their lunch.
